
Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs has debuted at the top of the US box office with an estimated gross of $67.5 million during its five-day holiday release.
Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen slid to the number two slot pulling in $42.5 million, which brings its total to almost $300 million in its first two weeks.
Johnny Depp and Christian Bale's gangster-thriller Public Enemies debuts at number three with a decent but less spectacular $41 million over the Independence Day weekend.
The summer's sleeper hit, The Hangover starring Bradley Cooper, rounds off the top five and celebrates the $200 million mark in its fifth week.
Night at the Museum 2 and Year One come in ninth and tenth place with a dual intake of $2.1 million.
