According to the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the best of the series yet.
The Associated Press quotes the Vatican as saying that the film "made the age-old debate over good v evil crystal clear" and said it had the "correct balance" not exhibited in the other films.
The Vatican praised the film for making it clear that good should triumph over evil and accepted that "sometimes this requires cost and sacrifice".
In 2006, the Vatican criticised Rowling's wizard, saying that the character was evil and born of "the devil".
