Brandon Routh, who has appeared in Will & Grace and Cold Case has won the role after a massive search for a new actor to play the Man of Steel.
Alan Horn, Warner Brothers president, revealed, "I think we're going to make a Superman movie that all of us can be very proud to bring to our audience around the world."
