Arquette, Cox confirm 'Scream 4' return

The actor, who plays police officer Dwight 'Dewey' Riley in the horror franchise, told E! Online that he is excited about the prospect of reuniting with Cox (Gale Weathers) on screen.
"I fell in love with my wife on Scream, so the opportunity to bring [Dewey] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it's just going to be really fun. It's just great," he said.
"Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct. Kevin has sort of put out the broad strokes, but I don't think I'm at liberty to share any of that."
Craven recently told DS that it was unlikely any other original stars would reprise their roles, although Arquette admitted that he is still "hoping" that Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott) can be persuaded.
