The 68-year-old, who plays Professor Albus Dumbledore in the wizard franchise, confirmed that although his character does not survive events in the sixth film, he will be seen briefly in the future movies, Sci-Fi Wire reports.
He said: "I'm in the last two films. I'm a ghost, a real ghost, in the one that I'm doing now, and I have this big scene with Harry. And then I'm in flashbacks in the other."
Final picture Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows will be split into two separate parts, with the first film due for release on November 19, 2010.
Co-star Emma Watson recently admitted that filming the two back-to-back features has been a different experience.
Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is in cinemas now.
