Radcliffe: 'I'd play Potter as an adult'

Daniel Radcliffe would consider playing Harry Potter as a man if JK Rowling continued the series into the wizard character's adulthood, he has admitted.

However, the actor told The Daily Telegraph that Rowling had no plans to write a follow-up novel to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

He said: "Jo Rowling's such an intelligent person. She knows if she was ever going to consider doing another, it would have to be bullet-proof. It would have to be an almost perfect book not to get slaughtered.

"So hopefully she won't, but if she does, of course I would have to consider it, because I have a loyalty to her and to the fans."

Recent speculation has suggested that the Harry Potter films could be the top-grossing franchise in movie history.
