Freeman to star in Willis thriller 'Red'

The Summit Entertainment project, based on the WildStorm/DC Comic, has been scripted by Erich and Jon Hoeber.
Originally written by Warren Ellis in 2003, Red follows the story of a retired CIA agent (Willis) now living a quiet life in retirement, who is forced back into action when a new CIA director becomes intent on killing him off.
Freeman's role in the movie has not been confirmed.
