DiCaprio and his Appian Way firm set up the sci-fi project at Warner Bros last year but there has been little progress since the initial announcement.
Ravich is the creator of NBC's Life. He also wrote and directed Johnny Depp's The Astronaut's Wife and executive produced Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind.
Created by Rod Serling, the original Twilight Zone series ran for 155 episodes between 1959 and 1964. It was later adapted for the big screen in 1983 as a four-part anthology movie, with Joe Dante, John Landis, George Miller and Steven Spielberg directing segments.
DiCaprio's Appian Way is also developing a live-action movie based on DC Comics character Aquaman, which the actor will produce, says The Hollywood Reporter.
