Leo talks about his 'Titanic' ego
Movie star Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted that the fame surrounding his 1997 smash Titanic inflated his ego so much that he believed he had "altered the course of history."

The actor, 29, told Vanity Fair magazine: "As soon as enough people give you enough compliments and you're wielding more power than you've ever had in your life, it's not that you become an arrogant little prick, or become rude to people ... but you get a false sense of your own importance and what you've accomplished. You actually think you've altered the course of history."

He added that he now had a "more relaxed" attitude to fame, thanks to his dad bringing him back down to earth. He also said that some of today's young movie stars were on the same ego trip - but refused to name them.
