Bruckheimer to make 'World War Robot'

The novel, by Ashley Wood, is written in the format of a war diary. It focuses on a battle between humans and robots on Earth, the moon and Mars.
Bruckheimer signed the deal at Comic-Con in San Diego last week.
IDW Publishing, which produced Robot, is home to licensed titles such as 24, Angel and CSI.
