Iannucci "chuffed" about 'Loop' DSMA noms

The comedy, a big screen spinoff of BBC sitcom The Thick Of It, leads the pack at DS's inaugural movie awards with nods in the movie of the year, actor of the year (for Peter Capaldi's turn as spin doctor Malcolm Tucker), best comedy and best movie marketing categories.
"In The Loop is my first film, so I'm absolutely chuffed and delighted that so many people have been entertained by this comedy about meaningless destruction," Iannucci told DS.
"And I'm particularly delighted such a wide audience has taken Peter Capaldi's portrayal of pure evil to their heart."
Voting for the Digital Spy Movie Awards takes place throughout August, with the winners revealed in October.
