Farrell not a likely recruit for Bond

Despite being tipped for the role of James Bond by ex-Bond Pierce Brosnan, Alexander star Colin Farrell has said that he is not interested in taking the part.
"The idea of me playing James Bond got into the press, but it is not true... I would not like to do it. They should find someone the audience has no history with," he explained.
He quipped that if he were to take the role, he would employ an Irish accent in order to confuse unsuspecting audiences.
Pierce Brosnan, the previous Bond, to his disappointment, will not be reprising the role. Hugh Jackman, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor are also mooted for the part.
