Colin Farrell's penis is relatively famous. A scene in which it made an appearance in A Home At The End Of The World was cut by the producers after it received appreciative cheers from the audience. The appendage was deemed too distracting, and so was removed (from the film).
In Alexander, however, audiences will be confronted with the offending organ, albeit briefly, in a scene depicting the emperor's wedding night with Roxanne (Rosario Dawson).
"It's nothing to be ashamed of, but people weren't gasping at it either," observed one critic.
As in the previous film, Farrell plays a bisexual, though there are no steamy gay scenes. However, at one point he kisses an effeminate-looking man full on the mouth.
