Jackman, Mika to work on 'Showman' musical

Written by Sex And The City's Jenny Bicks, the movie will follow the entrepreneur as he founds a travelling circus. Barnum's obsession with opera singer Jenny Lind will also be explored, with Anne Hathaway being eyed for the romantic interest role.
Fox is also in talks with singer Mika to pen music and lyrics for the project, says Variety.
Jackman will produce Showman alongside Laurence Mark, extending their working relationship after teaming up for this year's Oscars, where the X-Men star served as host.
The project is unrelated to the recently announced Columbia Pictures Barnum biopic.
