Jason Segel joins 'Adventurer's Handbook'

Jonah Hill, who co-wrote the script with Matt Spicer and Max Winkler, will feature as one of four friends going on a round-the-globe jaunt inspired by explorer Mick Conefrey. Jason Schwartzman is also among the cast, with Segel playing an alcoholic musician.
Hot Rod helmer Akiva Schaffer will direct Handbook, which is being targeted for an early 2010 production start.
Segel, who stars in How I Met Your Mother, will next appear in Gullliver's Travels. He is also working on a new Muppets movie with Disney.
