The actress stars alongside Ashton Kutcher in the Robert Luketic-helmed project about a woman who marries an assassin and then has to deal with his past catching up with him.
Speaking to DS at the premiere of her recent film The Ugly Truth, she joked: "I'm not a fan of the action genre! It was actually sort of painstaking and I'm the most unco-ordinated clumsy, klutzy person. I always had a bruise, I always tripped and fell.
"I'd be trying to look serious running while a car tries to chase me down and I would still look stupid. I realise I'm not really built for it! I think I'll give it a go one more time, but I might have to get in shape or something beforehand!"
Luketic added: "She loves it but she gets bored because it's this minute... Katherine is brilliant with dialogue and loves to play these scenes out, but action is very tedious and it's hard work. I think she was bored at times."
The Ugly Truth is in cinemas now.
