Music video director Erik White is on board to steer the movie, which is about a young man in the projects who holds a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million. He must rebuff attempts from his opportunistic neighbour to steal the ticket over the weekend.
Abdul Williams wrote the script for the comedy, which has moved from its original home at Rogue Pictures to Alcon Entertainment.
Lottery Ticket will begin production in Atlanta this October.
