Grint was 'worked up' over 'Potter' kiss

Rupert Grint has admitted that he felt uncomfortable when filming his kissing scene in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The latest wizard movie sees the actor's character Ron Weasley locking lips with classmate Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave) following success on the Qudditch field.

Grint, 20, has now revealed that he was horrified when he discovered that Ron's big moment would take place in the Gryffindor common room with best friends Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Hermione (Emma Watson) looking on.

Speaking to Parade, he explained: "It was quite intense. Ron's new girlfriend Lavender kind of attacks him. I had only really just met Jessie Cave who plays her and suddenly we were kissing up a storm.

"I was quite worked up about it because we're in the middle of a huge crowd, and it's never really a comfortable thing to do right in front of people. When Daniel got kissed in the last film, he was, like, totally alone."

He added: "Daniel wasn't great really when I did my kissing scene. I guess he hadn't forgotten I'd teased him when he got kissed. He was sort of standing at the back of the set trying to make me laugh. He was a little bit of a creep."

Cave has previously described Grint as a "great kisser" and confessed that she was "infatuated" with him.
