Warner Bros making 'Lego' movie
Warner Bros has announced plans to make a movie based around Lego building blocks, reports Variety.

Dan Lin, who is producing the upcoming Sherlock Holmes for the studio, will steer the film with brothers Dan and Kevin Hageman on board to draft a script.

No details have been revealed about the story, but Lin noted that the movie will have "a fun factor, creativity and imagination that has no boundaries". According to Variety, it will be an action-adventure set in the Lego world that blends live footage and animation.

The Warner Bros/Lego project has been in the works for a year, with the filmmakers making several trips to the toymaking firm's headquarters in Denmark. Lego has previously resisted overtures from Hollywood to turn its popular bricks into a movie in order to protect its brand name.
