The pair share a romantic scene in Diablo Cody's new teen horror movie, but Seyfried confessed that she is concerned about the media's reaction to the same-sex clinch.
"We knew that it was going to play a really big role in publicising the movie," she told WENN. "We kind of rolled our eyes at the idea of having to make out."
Jennifer's Body tells the story of a possessed cheerleader (Fox) who begins to feed off boys in a small Minnesota farming town.
Seyfried, who plays Fox's nerdy best friend, also revealed that the best thing about working alongside the Transformers star was that she didn't feel pressure to "look attractive" on set.
"Being a lead [like Megan], you have that weird pressure of feeling like you have to look attractive," she said. "In this movie, I didn't worry about any of that s**t. I don't want to play the one that everybody is supposed to want to have sex with."
Last month, Fox claimed that she looked "pretty sexy" in the movie, describing the project as "unapologetic and completely inappropriate at all times".
