Summit Entertainment has confirmed that production on the vampire follow-up started this week and photographs of the cast and crew back on set have already begun circulating on the internet.
Eclipse revolves around Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) attempting to solve a string of murders that they believe have been committed by a vampire, while Bella also struggles to choose between Edward and Jacob (Taylor Lautner).
All major cast members have been confirmed to return except for Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria), who has been replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard because of a reported scheduling conflict.
Howard will be joined by fellow newcomers including Xavier Samuel (Riley), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria), Jack Huston (Royce King), Julia Jones (Leah), BooBoo Stewart (Seth) and Jodelle Ferland (Bree).
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will arrive in cinemas on June 30, 2010.
