Marini not 'returning to Sex And The City'

The actor, who shot to fame playing Samantha Jones's (Kim Cattrall) neighbour, had previously claimed that he wanted to reprise the role in the highly anticipated follow-up.
"There's a lot of talks. I'm not sure what's going on yet. Only [writer/director] Michael Patrick King will tell me the future in a phone call," he told OK earlier this year.
However, speaking to E! Online's Marc Malkin, his spokesperson said: "As far as I know, he will not be in the sequel."
Production on Sex And The City 2 is scheduled to begin this summer for a May 28, 2010 release.
