Zach Galifianakis joins 'Schmucks' cast

Zach Galifianakis is to join the cast of Dinner For Schmucks, it has been reported.

According to Variety, the Hangover star will be a part of an ensemble cast that includes Anchorman duo Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd.

Galifianakis will play an assistant manager of a mattress store who is dating Carell's ex-wife. The film is being helmed by Meet The Parents director Jay Roach.

Production for Dinner For Schmucks will begin this autumn with a summer 2010 release date.
