'Inglourious Basterds' tops US box office

The Peter Jackson-produced sci-fi thriller District 9 has slipped to the number two spot with $18.9 million. G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra has also dropped one slot to number three with $12.5 million, while The Time Traveller's Wife has landed at number four with $10 million and Meryl Streep's Julie & Julia appears at number five with $9 million.
The second and third debut this week comes from the Robert Rodriguez animated movie Shorts at number six with $6.6 million, and the Fox comedy Post Grad entering at number ten with $2.8 million.
