The Mrs Doubtfire actor said that he is being courted by Hollywood executives about the possibility of portraying Boyle in a forthcoming project, while he admitted that he is a big fan of the Britain's Got Talent runner-up.
He told the Daily Star: "I've been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she's incredible. That clip of her singing on Britain's Got Talent was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing."
He continued: "I saw some other clip of her singing 'Cry Me A River' a few years ago. It was incredible. She's got a really great voice."
Williams added that he is keen to take on the role and has been perfecting his impression of the star for friends.
The 57-year-old recently said that he is to provide vocal talent for the sequel to Happy Feet.
