Goyer predicts movement on 'Magneto'

Screenwriter David Goyer has predicted movement on Marvel’s X-Men Origins: Magneto in the next year.

The Dark Knight scribe told MTV News that Magneto is one of a list of potential X-Men spinoff movies but he is confident that it will be made.

"I've been in touch with [Marvel]," he said. "I'm sure that project will move forward in the next year or so."

The list of other confirmed and rumoured Marvel movie projects include X-Men: First Class, Deadpool and a sequel to this year’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The role of Magneto was played by Sir Ian McKellen in the first three X-Men films.
