Lauren Bacall 'criticises Twilight'

The 84-year-old viewed the vampire movie at the request of her granddaughter, Contactmusic reports.
She was apparently disappointed that the film did not measure up to the bloodsucker pictures of yesteryear, and encouraged her grandchild and other Twilight fans to explore movies such as Nosferatu.
"After the 'film' was over, I wanted to smack her across her head with my shoe, but I do not want a (tell-all) book called Grannie Dearest written on me when I die," she wrote on her Twitter page.
She added: "So instead I gave her a DVD of Murnau's 1922 masterpiece Nosferatu and told her, 'Now that's a vampire film!' And that goes for all of you! Watch Nosferatu instead!"
Bacall recently had harsh words for today's film studios, saying that they are too concerned with commercial success.
