After making his big screen directorial debut in 1975 with Month Python and the Holy Grail (sharing credit with Terry Jones), Terry Gilliam went on to helm movie classics such as Time Bandits, Brazil, Twelve Monkeys and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. His latest film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, arriving in UK cinemas on October 16, marks the last big screen appearance by Heath Ledger.
