Weaver 'learned pole dancing for You Again'

Sigourney Weaver has reportedly revealed that she learned how to pole dance for the movie You Again.

In June, the Aliens actress joined the rom-com's cast, which includes Kristen Bell, Betty White, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kristen Chenoweth.

Weaver will portray the wealthy aunt of a bride-to-be, who is a high school rival of Bell's character. The 59-year-old said that she memorised two different types of dance for her role, E! reports.

She said: "I didn't learn that at Yale [School of Drama], although it would have been useful."

Weaver added that she does not have to don a stripper outfit for the Disney-produced project, saying: "I wear the same thing [I did] for the samba. I have a little kind of Carmen Miranda costume."

You Again is being directed by Andy Fickman and will be released in 2010.
