Kate Winslet will lend her voice to the character of a rat in Aardman Animations' new movie, Flushed Away.
The film will revolve around sewer rats and comes from the same company that brought us Chicken Run and the Wallace And Gromit series, and will also feature Hugh Jackman.
Oscar-winning director Nick Park, creator of Creature Comforts, is currently working on a Wallace And Gromit movie, expected to be completed in April.
Flushed Away will follow the exploits of Rita the rat in Ratropolis, and also sports the vocal talents of Sir Ian McKellen, Bill Nighy and Andy Serkis.
While Aardman usually use clay models, this venture is so complex that CGI is required, so production will take place in Dreamworks studios.
