Jodie Foster says that she would like to play a romantic lead in a movie but nobody ever seems to give her the chance.
Jodie, 42, is most often seen in gritty violent films such as Taxi Driver, for which she won an Oscar, or thrillers like Silence of the Lambs and Panic Room. However, Jodie would welcome a change.
She is currently in Berlin filming Flightplan where she told the city's Morgenpost: "I love thrillers. But I'd also like to play in a romantic comedy, but there are no offers."
The fact that offers are not forthcoming does not seem to surprise her though -"To be quite honest: I don't think I come across as the particularly romantic type," she admitted.
