Kevin Spacey has been offered the part of Lex Luthor in the latest Superman film, but may not be able to accept it because of his busy schedule.
Spacey, who is currently tied to his theatre commitments, told Zap2it, "They want me to do it, but I'm not doing it yet. I mean, I'd love to work with Bryan again. It's a question of am I even available to do it, and we don't know yet."
The new film is being directed by Bryan Singer, who was also the director of Spacey's The Usual Suspects, and is currently pencilled in for a 2006 release.
