Lussier tapped for 'Halloween 3D'

According to Variety, the horror veteran may write and direct the latest instalment in the long-running franchise, replacing Rob Zombie, the helmer of 2007's remake and this year's sequel.
Lussier has a long history in the horror genre, serving as editor on Wes Craven's Scream series and most recently directing My Bloody Valentine 3D.
Halloween 3D is being targeted for a summer 2010 release.
