Tim Burton: 'Alice' is a Disney movie'

The director, who recently admitted that he was frustrated with "worried" parents, has said that despite the dark elements that roam in his films, the movie is meant for people of all ages to view.
Burton told AMC News: "It's a Disney movie! Look, these things are what they are. They're best left open for interpretation.
"That's what I love about Roald Dahl on downwards - all children's literature is somewhat politically incorrect. We're not doing anything in it that's more than what's already in Alice In Wonderland."
Alice In Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp, arrives in cinemas on March 5, 2010.
