According to STV, the Good Night, And Good Luck director has said that he would like his friend to star in the political movie he is currently developing about the 'War on Terror'. Damon will reportedly play the lawyer of Osama Bin Laden's former chauffeur, who was captured in Afghanistan and sent to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
Clooney said: "It's about the so called 'War on Terror', but set in a courtroom."
The Informant! star recently revealed that Clooney consistently nabs all the good roles in Hollywood, and was even considered for Damon's character in the Steven Soderbergh-directed film.
Damon said: "George just wasn't right for the part, thank God, so I got to play it. He gets enough good roles, he doesn't need all the good ones, he's got to leave some for the rest of us."
