Sam Raimi will produce supernatural horror film Refuge, says The Hollywood Reporter.

British director Corin Hardy is to helm the project, which centres on a Yeti wreaking havoc in a remote American town. Tom De Ville is writing the script that Raimi's Ghost House Pictures will produce.

Hardy will first make a short film based on Refuge's premise to act as a teaser while the script for the final movie is being completed.

Raimi will next direct Spider-Man 4 and a World Of Warcraft adaptation.
