DS readers voted across ten categories throughout August for their favourite movies from the last 12 months. The winners will be revealed online on Monday, October 5, with the first category champ announced at 7am followed by one each hour up until 6pm.
Terry Gilliam, the director of Brazil, Twelve Monkeys and Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, will receive a Movie Legend honour, while a Star Of The Future prize will go to an up-and-coming British actress.
Movies including Star Trek, In The Loop, Brüno, Slumdog Millionaire, Frost/Nixon and The Wrestler were all nominated for gongs.
