As fetching as a spider-costumed Tobey Maguire might seem to Kirsten Dunst's character in Spiderman, the actress has admitted that she is terrified of real spiders.
She told the Sun: "I can't stand them.
"I don't want to kill them but they don't need to be in the house.
"If it's in the shower, it'll be whoops, turn on the water and bye Mr Spider. But I'm always afraid that they'll crawl up, attack me and get revenge."
Dunst, happy in her work, also told the newspaper that she would not continue with acting if it became more work than fun: "It's always playtime, especially when you work with great actors who consider it playtime too.
"But as soon as it turns into work - like when you do a scene over and over again - then it's not worth it to me."
