Andrew Garfield has said that starring in a movie about the creation of Facebook will be a "rad" experience.

The Brit actor is attached to appear in the Aaron Sorkin-scripted Social Network with Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake. The movie details the turbulent relationship between site co-founders Mark Zuckerberg (Eisenberg), Eduardo Saverin (Garfield) and Sean Parker (Timberlake).

"I haven't been told if I'm allowed to talk about whether or not that's happening!" Garfield told DS at the UK premiere of his new film The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus. "[David Fincher] is directing. If I was lucky enough to be involved then that's kind of rad."

Garfield admitted that he was a Facebook user but found the site to be "unfortunately very addictive".
