Scorz: 'I used to spew before going on stage'
Published Friday, Oct 9 2009, 13:50 BST | By Simon Reynolds

The Nottingham musician, who appears with Paddy Considine in this week's Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee, told DS that nerves would often overcome him before he went out on stage.
"There was occasions when I used to do gigs, I used to be sick," he said. "[I'd] spew up then go on stage. I always say the first five, 10 seconds are nerve-wracking, but once you're into it and see the crowd likes it then you start enjoying it."
Shane Meadows's comedy sees Scor-zay-zee and roadie Le Donk (Considine) head to Manchester to support the Arctic Monkeys. Scorz admitted that he had "butterflies" before his performance at the Old Trafford cricket ground, but was able to film the scene in one take.
