Fan camps out for new 'Star Wars'

An American fan of Star Wars has decided to camp outside his local cinema in preparation for the latest film - 22 weeks before it is released.

Jeff Twieden has camped outside the cinema, in downtown Seattle, since January 1st.

He told his local news website, Komo 1000 News, "A lot of people say 'get a life,' stuff like that. But I'm having the time of my life out here."

Jeff pulled a similar stunt before the release of Episode One - outside the same cinema.

The only problem is that the cinema has yet to confirm whether it will be showing the new movie.

Twieden added, "If it isn't, I'll be more than happy to move to a different theatre. It's really all about the wait. Star Wars is about independence and freedom. And that's really what this wait is about. That complete and utter independence."
