Fox acquires Laybourne's 'Rehab' comedy

20th Century Fox has picked up the rights to Sam Laybourne comedy Rehab, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will follow the story of a man who lies his way into rehab so that he can spend time with a former high school crush who is now a rock star.

Laybourne's credits include Arrested Development and ABC's Cougar Town.

Peter Chernin and Will Gluck (The Loop) will produce the project, while Gluck is also expected to direct.
