During promotion for sequel Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen earlier this year, the 23-year-old said that the Michael Bay-helmed movies gave her limited acting opportunities.
Bay and Fox subsequently became involved in a war of words, with Bay claiming that the actress is prone to saying "ridiculous things" and Fox comparing the filmmaker to Adolf Hitler.
Members of the Transformers film crew later described Fox as "dumb-as-a-rock" in an open letter.
The star has now told the crowd at Spike TV's Scream Awards that she is "completely grateful" to be affiliated with the movies, Us Weekly reports.
"I don't usually do this, but I wanted to say something," she said on accepting her sci-fi actress award.
"There have been a lot of false reports about how I feel about this movie. I just want to be very clear that I've always felt I'm a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film."
She added: "The movie took me out of obscurity and gave me a career, and I'm completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."
