Swank 'refused pilot licence for film'

The actress, who will play aviator Amelia Earhart in an upcoming movie, was hoping that she would be allowed to fly as part of the role but has been told that insurance policies will not cover it.
"I had about 19 hours of flying under my belt, but the insurance policy on the movie was never going to allow me do that," the actress is quoted as saying.
The 35-year-old star added: "It’s something I take very seriously. I’m not a big sweater, but when I land, my back is drenched. It takes a lot of concentration. It’s really exhilarating."
She added: "You can’t play Amelia Earhart and not learn how to fly. That’s just wrong in every way."
Amelia, which also stars Richard Gere and Ewan McGregor, is scheduled for release in November.
