The rapper was apparently a favourite to take on the role made famous by Mr T, but was forced to pull out due to scheduling conflicts with his forthcoming album.
50 Cent told Total Film: "I went for the B.A. Baracus role in The A-Team a few weeks ago but they'd already started shooting, so it would have kinda jammed things up at my end, because I've got my new album coming out."
The character will now be played by Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson. Others cast in the movie include Bradley Cooper - who portrays Faceman - and Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith.
