The Couples Retreat actress was recently cast as Christina Aguilera's cabaret club rival in the forthcoming movie also starring Cher.
She told E!: "I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore."
The 29-year-old also stated that her costumes are influenced by Madonna's infamous cone-shaped bra, which the singer sported in the video for 'Vogue'.
Bell said: "My character is fun and sexy but not a stripper. There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings."
The former Veronica Mars star added that she is not looking forward to a particular singing scene with Aguilera.
"There's a competition between the two of us," she explained. "I really want to sing and she's allowed to sing at the club so we fight... In the end when all is well, they may sing together. I almost wish they wouldn't, because I would rather just listen to Christina."
Earlier this month, Julianne Hough joined the cast of the Steve Antin-directed project, which will debut in cinemas in November 2010.
