The rapper has insisted that he's reached the top of acting by co-starring with talents that include Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham and Ray Winstone.
The 33-year-old told Bang Showbiz: "Oh man, I'm in with the heavyweights man. At this point it's exciting, but it's a learning experience for me.
"I had the opportunity to work with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and it's interesting from an artist's perspective to be around other artists and have an energy that is in some sense stronger than yours."
50 Cent is to star alongside actor Danny Dyer in the upcoming Dead Man Running and with Rourke in crime-thriller Twelve.
As for receiving recognition on set amongst the Hollywood elite, he added: "When we go into the nightclub environment I'm absolutely the man, that's where music lives, but when we're in film projects and you're talking about Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, I'm like, 'Hello! Film people, I'm over here'."
