Carell for sports comedy 'Missing Links'

Based on the novel of the same name by ESPN writer Rick Reilly, the film will centre on a group of Boston golfers who come up with a scheme to win membership to an elite club.
Jay Lavender (The Break-Up) has been tapped to write the screenplay, while Office star Carell will produce through his Carousel Productions label.
Carell recently teamed with Warner Bros for spy spoof Get Smart and can next be seen in Date Night opposite Tina Fey.
