The Funny People actor is to star as Jack and his twin sister Jill in the Columbia Pictures film. The project has been scripted by Steven Koren, who worked with Sandler on Saturday Night Live.
Todd Garner (Paul Blart: Mall Cop) and Jack Giarraputo are producing the movie via Sandler's Happy Madison production company.
Jack And Jill is expected to begin shooting next year for a 2011 release.
