Shane Black reveals 'Doc Savage' project

Black said that he is working on an film adaptation of Lester Dent's pulp icon with Star Trek producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.
Doc Savage debuted in the 1930s as a scientist and explorer trained to the peak of human fitness and intellect.
Black promised that the movie will not feature a modern update of the character, but will be an original story set in the '30s.
The film will see Savage team up with regular allies the Fabulous Five.
